Spinner bait. Look closely, the bass is on the trailer hook.
It's a good idea to always use a trailer hook with a spinner bait.
The spinner bait is my go-to bait for fast working shallow(-6ft) water.
Casting to the shore by fallen logs, docks, boulders, etc.
A crank bait would snag on the wood.
A crank bait is good when there is less snags.
Slower working I use a tube bait, drop shot.
