Windsor area wind farms spark environmental fears

WINDSOR, Ont. — A proposal to put more than 700 turbines in lakes Erie and St. Clair has sparked has sparked concerns over fish habitat, bird migrations and spoiled views.
"Keep building them on land," 60-year-old Greg Disher said Wednesday on County Road 50 near International Power's 24 wind turbines which are built but won't be running until May or June.
Disher said the turbines look OK and provide clean energy, but he's a little wary of seeing them in the lakes. Windsorstar.
